(103) "I could do this!... I could do this!"
Just before 11 p.m. on January 31st 1994 I was alone in my kitchen and pondering on how the possibility of achieving long held spiritual goals was still there.
I found myself verbally affirming out loud; "I could do this... I could do this!".
Perhaps instantaneously - and certainly within two seconds - a character in a TV drama that I had playing in the adjacent room (but which I had hardly been watching at all) said to another, with great emphasis and emotion;
"You could do this, couldn't you! You could! Because it would be easy for you!"
It was in a Police setting where somebody was being urged to testify or at any rate to perform some service for truth.
I discovered this was a programme on Channel 4 entitled Homicide - Life on the Street: See No Evil.

It is also clear that the man telling the other that he "... could do this...!" had just previously stated that he himself could NOT perform the deed.

i.e. it was specifically the man whom he was urging to do the job who was the only one who could do it.
